Is The Next Wonder Woman Alana De La Garza?

Who is chalked up to be the next Wonder Woman? Well, since DC called us up last week, asking our opinion. We decided to chime in with a unanimous vote for Alana de la Garza! Google her, if you don’t think she has what it takes to be Wonder Woman, then Your missing a testicle, son! Take a look and behold… a goddes!!! (Ai Chewawa!!)

   Yes! I had the same idea seeing “”law and order” She has the face and the attitude for Wonder Woman. But she should have intensive gym training first. Recent WW comics shows her as tall as Superman!

   She doesn’t strike me as the best choice for Wonder Woman, although I wouldn’t hate it if she were to play the role.

   I think Alana de la Garza would be absolutely PERFECT. She is well-suited for both facets of the character (Diana & Wonder Woman) physically, facially and behaviorally. She has a perfect command of the English language and I can TOTALLY see her in the costume

   My only concern is age: Alana’s 34, in 2010…37 in 2013– so I’m not really sure that leaves enough room (age-wise) for her to do sequels with 2-3 yr periods in between each, you know? What’s funny is that I recently left a comment championing Alana as Wonder Woman on a different site/blog. Since then, I have visited IMDB.com and learned her age– and it saddens me to say it seems it’d be a pretty big issue to producers.

   I also tossed around the idea of Erica Durance– but I’m not 100% sure, now, that SHE would be the right choice.

   On that other site– I suggested that an actress with the look of KATERINA GRAHAM (witch- Bonnie Bennett on Vampire Diaries) would actually be PERFECT for the role. Katerina, herself, however– might be TOO SHORT. So…I can TOTALLY understand when, 3-4 years ago, producers were seriously considering a light-complexioned Indian actress. That kind of “look” successfully pulls off what an Amazonian woman should look like.

   Perhaps if they’d toyed with the idea back when Vanessa Williams was 25– SHE might’ve dethroned Lynda Carter. Ironically…Lynda is of latin origin: Chile, I think

   I’ve always thought she looks like an alien. Check out how far apart her eyes are….freakish!
   She’ll fit the part well.
