BATTLE ROYAL: Aquaman vs Namor

In this corner we have Aquaman, DC’s ‘King of the Seven Seas’! And in the opposite corner, Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel’s Son of Atalantis. Let’s get ready to RUMMBBBLE. Ding, ding, ding.

These two titans of the deep are ready to square off. We want to hear your thoughts on who would win this fictional battle between fictional characters with a fictional outcome!!!

   Namor is actually much stronger, faster, and a more skilled fighter. What will win this is Aquamans Telepathic abilities….and yes it works on more then just fish. He would just put Namor to sleep and be done with it. We are after all talking about a guy who mind raped a White Martian and rooted around in Martian Manhunters head. He’s a lot more powerful then people actually think he is.

   Namor. He can get a little bit angrier and there is a reason he’s called “The Avenging Son”. Look what he did to Wakanda. Yes, Aquaman ‘won’ by dropping a whale on him. But it wasn’t a definitive k.o. win, it was an incapacitated win.

    Both are super fast, incredibly strong, and tough enough to repel bullets and withstand incredible pressures. Both are kings and trained warriors. Toe-to-toe with physical abilities I believe that they are pretty evenly matched (except for Namor’s flying). Both have been show to be very determined and ruthless. In the JLU animated series Aquaman cut off his own hand to save his son (as opposed to having it chewed off in the comics). The real deciding factor is Aquaman’s telepathic ability with sea life. What is Namor going to do if he’s pounding on Aquaman and then a dozen Great White sharks join in on Arthur’s side? And if the battle keeps to the seemingly sporadic ability of Aquaman to be a full telepath (his ability varies based on the current canon and the writer), Namor is even more out of luck. Aquaman can control every living creature that Namor would come into contact with and bring the entire sea to bear against the Sub-Mariner.

    Aquaman FTW. Not even a close contest.

    Aquaman is more resourceful. Especially if we’re talking hook for a hand Aquaman. He cut off the head of Cerebrus and tossed it over the gates of the Underworld – you just don’t mess with that.

    NAMOR! He perfected his fighting skills kicking the stuffing out of the Nazis in WWII. Aquaman is a wuss, he spends his time petting Sea Anenomes, and is basically a side kick on the JLA. Namor’s the real King of Atlantis! Nuff Said!

    Namor, the guy who’s beaten the Hulk, will literally pulverize Aquaman. The
    Sub Mariner is faster, overwhelmingly stronger and just more brutal than Qrin. And that mind control crap won’t do diddly squat to a really pissed off Namor.

    What should he do?

    Ask the DJ to play “in the navy” (or any other song) by Village people, and start taking off his shiny green underpants and his golden belt?

    Maybe Namor would win if this was a Chippendale-Contest.

    Aquaman, if i recall this actually happend in the marvel dc cross over. Aquaman droped a whale on him and won.

    DC vs MArvel was bogus all the way. Aquaman won this fight there like Wolverine won vs Lobo. Ridiculous. Try messing with his mind Arthur, and not all the f whales in the world will make him stop from beating you like the super-strenght, flying, swimming pile of rage he is.
