316 Stainless Steel is the preferred steel where bio-compatibility is required (such as body implants and piercings). The "L" means that the carbon content of the alloy is below 0.03%, which reduces the sensitization effect. 316 steel has .08 Max carbon content while 316L has a .03 Max carbon content. Stainless steel does not contain, corrode, or rust as easily as ordinary steel. Though it will not oxidize or turn black, it is still not "stain-proof."

Super Super pleased with these. Had been wanting to get some forever, and once I finally ordered them I didn't have to wait long at all.

These plugs are great. They're made from good material and don't bother my ears. People compliment them all the time! They aren't exactly as pictured, there's a silver ring around the outside of the shield. But mine are 2g, so maybe mine are just different because they're small. I love them anyway!
Just got those plugs and they were above my expectations. The shield is nicelly printed and it looks really well made. I would recomend this for any Captain Rogers fan

I love these plugs, they're the perfect choice after I've been looking to change the ones I had in before. The only reason I gave these a 4/5 stars is because the shield is a little off-centered on one of them. Not really a big deal at all, I'm still happy I made the purchase and you really can't beat the price.
