"Blue Harvest" is the first episode of the 6th season of The Family Guy. It aired on September 23, 2007. It is a retelling of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, from Peter's perspective, recasting the show's characters into Star Wars roles. The show ran for a full hour and was made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise. The name "Blue Harvest" is a reference to the title of the film used to keep people from finding out about the actual 1981 - 1983 production of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
