the first series seen on Warner Bros' Cartoon Network's, Toonami.
The ThunderCats cartoon series mixes high-technology, magic, hand-to-hand combat, and a bunch of Good triumphan over Evil values.
The ThunderCats go up against a demonic wizard named Mumm-Ra, along with a rag-tag assortment of villains, and on a planet named Third Earth.
The story begins with Thundera, the Thundercats' original home, being destroyed, forcing them to flee on a group of starships
just as the planet blew itself apart. Lion-O is the leader and he has the Eye of Thundera, the source of the ThunderCats' power, embedded
in the hilt of the mystic Sword of Omens. There is also Jaga the Wise, the evil utants of Plun-Darr yaddy, yaddy, yaddy, and the rest is
history.
