This particular Dr Doom is rendered by designer Simone Legno as part of the popular, playful, Tokidoki character aesthetic.  Tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese.  Simone chose this particular word since:  A) He loves Japan and B) The word sort of implies (to Simone, anyway) that things happen unexpectedly to perhaps....free one from the tyranny of Dr Doom?  Maybe.

Yeah, it's all about boundless hope, little cutesy, circular, almost Manga-inspired iterations of classic Marvel characters jumpin' round in Playdough or snorting Pixie trails. Look, this is a premium, high end designer t-shirt (hence the higher price) made with a higher thread count, so it's softer than average.  Very much unlike the temperament of....DOOOM!.
