The material is a light, perforated polyester. I usually fit men's t-shirts between size small and medium, and bought the size medium of this jersey, As expected it fits loose, but not too big. (To compare, my official NBA NY Knicks jersey in size M is a little bigger.) I'm not embarrassed to wear my Spiderman jersey almost every weekend. I've washed it more times than I can count. The jersey stands up to all this without any problems. The spider emblem is indeed applied thick, but I'm happy with it. People compliment my jersey frequently.
fantastic looking jersey but after wearing maybe 6 times has dozens of loose threads forming on the inside of the arms. don't want to trim them in case the whole thing unravels. kinda disappointed.
Although the quality is excellent, the spider decal is so thick & heavy it makes wearing this shirt feel like I'm wearing a sticky plastic bag. Yuk! If I could return it I would.

This jersey is of the highest quality. The shirt fits great and looks... ahem, Amazing. Plus the best thing is that it has the red spider on the back. No Spidey shirts ever have the red spider! It's actually a must for all Web-head fans and may become required wearing, depending on how things workout with the whole lizard man in a lab coat thing turns out.
