When we first started experimenting with this 100% cotton Superman Blue Steel Symbol Black Long Sleeve T-Shirt we thought we should actually have a steel emblem that would be required to be riveted into one's chest. Unfortunately the cost was prohibitive, nobody liked carrying around a 75 pound emblem on their chest, and we ran out of gas for our rivet gun(and people complained about pain..wusses!). Anyways, we went back to the drawing board and decided that a screen printed  steel symbol on a nice 100% cotton shirt would do quite nicely. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right?
