Captain America proves one thing...as long as you have a lot of heart, somebody will come by and give you some crazy serum and hit you with some crazy flashlight and BAM! You'll be Marvel's First Avenger, Captain America! Wait, I think that only works once...and that was Red Skull's problem! Baa-dum-tsst. I'll be here all week, folks! Any-who, the process was a bit more complicated than that but that doesn't stop Captain America from being a timeless Sentinel of Liberty!

Originally created in 1941 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, Captain America started off as the scrawny army reject that was picked up by 'Project: Rebirth' which I think is probably the name of the next Playstation or Xbox. Instead of playing games in 4k resolution though Steve Rogers was given some 'Super Soldier Serum' and blasted with 'Vita Rays' which created a peak-human being, Captain America! Of course since this was 1941 the biggest threat to the world was Hitler and Nazi Germany so off Captain America went to punch Hitler square in the face! That's probably how World War 2 ended come to think of it.

Armed with a nearly indestructible shield and augmented to the peak of human physical existence, Captain America continued to fight the good fight until getting locked in a giant block of ice. You see, that's why your mother always told you to take a jacket with you! From there, several other characters took up Steve Rogers' mantle but it wasn't till much later till somebody actually thawed out the original Captain America! It was a glorious day and it was celebrated by Tony Stark who was still probably drinking a bit too much. One thing always stayed the same though; Captain America was a beacon for other heroes to follow and a natural born leader in his own right!

Currently played by Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America remains a super popular character. I guess that's plenty of reason to forge him his very own mystery-gift box!
