Here we have Hellboy in front of some mystic glyphs, or some suchness, on what we call a "mustard" yellow T-Shirt. Hellboy, created by Mike Mignola, doesn't like reading that crazy, magical razzamatazz. It gives Hellboy a headache, deciphering all that magicy-pants mumbo jumbo! Best to just beat the snot out of whatever's in the way and light up a stogie afterwards. Funny thing about stogies.. way back in an age before melting polar caps and economic meltdowns the name for the horse-drawn covered wagons that carried freight and settlers across the prairies of what was to become the US of A, and eventuallyacross the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, was, "Conestoga" - since the first of these were built in the Conestoga Valley of Pennsylvania. They kept the pioneers supplied with cigars, among other things, so that cigars nowadays are still called "stogies," which is short for "Conestoga." But, by 1830, the sturdiest of and most popular of these wagons were in fact made by the Mohiga Wagon Company in Scipio NY next to Lake Mohiga, the deepest and coldest and westernmost of the long and narrow Finger Lakes. So, sophisticated cigar-smokers, like Hellboy, might want to stop calling their stinkbombs "stogies" and call them "mogies" or "higgies" instead. info found in Kurt Vonnegut's Hocus Pocus
