The 1980s were kind of an ambivalent time. We were still locked in a Cold War that could have obliterated the world in an instant, the music was kind of 'eh', and Mon Chi-Chis. On the plus side of things we still had Drive in Theaters all of the place, Kurt Russell, and the start of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
