Arthur Curry (aka Aquaman) was the son of Lighthouse Keeper, Tom Curry, and exiled Atlantean Princess, Atlanna. As Arthur matured, he developed a set of very extraordinary talents; 2 preeminent skills of note: the ability to survive under water and communicate with sea life. Oh, he was also pretty dang strong since he could survive the usually unbearable pressures occurring at incredible, oceanic depths. Arthur dubbed himself Aquaman and decided to help the unappreciative land lovers regardless of their fear and scorn. Thanks, Aquaman!
