Johnny Storm was actually one of the first fatalities in Smokey the Bear's brand new aggressive campaign against forest fires. Hey, it's working for anti-cigarette ads! Next it'll be fast food and cars. Smokey the Bear has since become a corrupt super villain spreading terror and destruction in his wake...but at least the woods aren't on fire! Hey, the ends justify the means apparently. Johnny Storm put a valiant attempt, but alas, Smokey the Bear is a talking bear. A TALKING BEAR, PEOPLE! The only thing Marvel can counter that with is Howard the Duck and he hasn't been kicking around for quite some time.
