Measuring nearly 3" across and 3.75" high, this black patch features an image of Spiderman wearing his black costume, a color scheme linked with too many sordid memories, leading to it's near obsolescence...until recently. Spiderman had, finally, reached the end of his tolerance.  He had just revealed his identity to the world as part of the Superhuman Registration act; a noble gesture of transparency that led to the near death of Aunt May!   After that and a series of events triggered by this aforementioned transparency, Spiderman....struck back.  No, he was not a happy Spider at all.  This is the Spiderman patch that says, "I have had enough so I am returning to my darker roots, wearing my black costume and throwing you off a skyscraper!"
